Ethics Education Program
Our Ethics Education Program will run from March 4 to April 22, 2026, consisting of 8 sessions held virtually every Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM (ET).
This program will be delivered by our CCHCE team, who bring extensive expertise in clinical and organizational ethics across hospitals, long-term care, and community health settings. Their practical experience ensures that each session is grounded in real-world challenges and solutions. The program is designed for frontline health care staff and allied health professionals, such as nurses, clinical managers, physicians, and social workers. The program is also open to anyone interested in health care ethics, including current or past patients and members of patient and family advisory councils. Whether you work in acute care, continuing care, or specialized programs, the Ethics Education Program will offer deeper engagement with ethics, through case studies, facilitated discussion with peers and instructors, and investigations into foundational concepts of bioethics to help you navigate complex ethical challenges in your unique context.
In addition to weekly live learning sessions, participants will benefit from interactive class discussions and structured in-class exercises that help you to understand and apply ethical concepts in practical ways.
The program also includes asynchronous discussion forums for ongoing peer engagement, optional self-directed learning quizzes to reinforce key ideas, and access to curated reading materials to deepen understanding beyond the classroom.
